The TaiwanCALL 2025 conference, themed "Reclaiming Learner and Teacher Agency in the Age of AI and Emerging Technologies," explores how artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies are transforming language learning and fostering a globally interconnected educational landscape. As AI reshapes learning, we seek to balance technological advancements with human agency, ensuring that educators and learners remain central to pedagogical decision-making. We invite distinguished scholars, early-career researchers, and graduate students worldwide to discuss applications, challenges, and implications of emerging technologies for language education.
